June-July art post :)
at this point it's pointless to say i have to get to my messages because everyone knows by now. ;-; i will. get to them though.
My mom recently put a curfew on her computer, so I can't use it so much haha ive been writing more than drawing
I need to get it straight and get my new one already
also it's been raining so much our internet keeps going for half a day or more at a stretch sometimes so
this month (june) has been so dang busy, it's exhausting. also my uncle (ex-boxer) said he'd teach me boxing and i want to learn so badly lol. so far he taught me simple basic arm movements but he said he'll eventually build up to teach me the "dance" as he puts it (when boxers taunt-dance and get reading to get punchin, as in. xD fun.)
I'm writing the little mermaid-pirate story thing back on Scratch to get back to writing. ;-; idk im not supposed to be on there anymore, but It's better than excerpts here and spam so whatever. small story.

After a 2-3 month hiatus SotS will be back to weekly updates on the first week of August! Took a good break but now it's time to get back to work
also SotS changed a lot, so I'm excited to show you guys! Also, I need to get back and re-do the older pages once I'm done. they're so ugly. tons of work, but it'll be worth it. I love this story.

I had a theory about SotS, putting it here so I won't forget. The Ashk herd have forbidden themselves over time from practicing magic (even though it was an Ashk lead mare who created the light belts in the first place), because they were scared of the void and they wanted to follow the prophecy word-for-word, which meant that only the blue/red guards had to wield magic to protect the Ashk. So maybe overtime the Ashk lost their spiritual connection, so if you give them a belt they won't be able to use it. This is why Lenore is so different, because she can use powerful magic, and not just because she practices. I have something in the epilogue about that, and it's kinda bittersweet. <:')

found Fluffy dead today :( quick sketch for her. sweet baby, really liked her. she liked sitting on your shoulder in that snug place near the neck. hah all my favorite chickens been dying (we lost like 11 so far, so now there's only four :( it's sad.) couple of days ago one of the younger chickens died for no stinkin reason, and today it was fluffy. idk why she died. but she was so sweet. when she hatched (mom's homemade incubator, so something special xD) she couldn't open her eyes for a couple of days and y'know, chickens can't live without sight so my mom thought she was going to die so she wanted us to put her down. but i didn't want to give up on her so i tried cleaning out her crusty eyes, they had some kind of liquid pus on them i think? idk. she cried because it hurt but she opened her eyes two days later and was totally fine. she had such pretty eyes, they were so beautiful. she was beautiful :( RIP fluff. </3 lol sorry if im being that overdramatic chicken lady, i just cant help it its too sad. idk why they keep dying idkkk it might be the heat or mosquitoes. idk. idk florida sucks man. ignore this please, i just want to remember this.

7/20/17: so we're down to the last chicken (baby chicken really), this punk must have killed at least 13 chickens if not more over three months. We captured two raccoons during this period, a fat one and a small one, but neither turned out to be the killers. Or maybe they worked together. idk this dont make sense. I've tried every cage and every shelter we have for those birds, nothing worked, he's too smart. He broke the roof off our baby hut, somehow, I have no idea how, and got in and took the white baby. Now we're left with only a brown baby, and that's it, no more hens. RIP all chickens are roosters who died over these past few months, and hopefully this monster will get shot or trapped and killed or something, I'm so tired.
